Geographical contexts to everyday situations explained

Welcome to GEO BLOGS (get it ? - Joe Bloggs...)

The aim of this blog is to explain and explore and celebrate the Geographical contexts to everyday situations for those non-Geographers out there, and also for Geographers who want some ideas for adding a context that their students can identify with to their lesson planning.

It was created with a view to entering the idea in a bid to win an £800 grant for Innovative Geography Teaching awarded by the Royal Geographical Society.
Keep returning for 'everyday' observations converted into meteorological, geomorphological and topological terms...especially if my proposal is a success.

I think the world of Geography!
