Geographical contexts to everyday situations explained




A very wet day today, once the early sun disappeared.
Earlier today visited a French market in Hunstanton. It was interesting to see the vibrancy of the stalls, with French flags fluttering, next to the more usual Sunday market stalls Came home with a marvellous pear tart and a sumptuous brioche & fresh goat's cheese, plus other goodies.

Later on the rain came down, and it got me to thinking about an old conundrum: if you're caught in the rain, is it better to walk to your destination or run - which of them will get you wetter ?
